“This book features a collection of hand-drawn maps depicting various parts of Paris. I had the pleasure of living there for a month and explored a great deal. I did my navigation for the most part without the aid of a smartphone or city map. As I became aware of places I wanted to visit I would look them up online from where I was staying and draw myself a simple map, generally to a place from the closest metro station. Upon my arrival back in the states, I realized that I now had this small collection of maps, each with its own related memories. This book exists to showcase these maps as interesting images, to impart some of my adventures in navigation and to serve as an offbeat guide of sorts to the Paris I discovered. ”
